1,000 pounds of food!

hope in the night

Thank you to everyone who came out and was a part of Hope in the Night. Together, we gathered an estimated 1,000 lbs of food for the Idaho Food Bank!

The community was incredibly receptive towards us collecting food on Halloween night and we are so excited to do this again next year. Several families were invited to church, some of our teams were able to pray with people, and all of us had a great time making Halloween about something bigger than getting candy. It was an amazing event!

Give a drink to the thirsty

There are few places in our culture so thirsty for love and attention as a retirement facility. With what would seem like their best years behind them, the elderly appear to be forgotten at large. When 22 Hope Campaign volunteers arrived to clean, plant flowers, and visit with the inhabitants of McCall’s Rehab and Retirement…

Preach the Word

Hope Campaign has taught me that if you listen to people and look for ways to help them, even in little things, you can bless people. They feel cared about and heard, which is awesome because God does care about them. I found myself asking, “Why don’t I do this all the time at home?”…

Feed the Hungry

Silas, who will be a Junior in High School this year, spent time organizing food at a Community Food Bank as part of Hope Campaign McCall this morning. In his own words, “It is sad to see people who have all of these troubles while we typically sit by and do nothing to help them….

Vessels of Hope

{A Hopeless situation} There was a woman in the Bible whose husband died, leaving her and her two sons to fend for themselves. Without a way to pay back their debt, the creditors came to collect on the only thing she had left- her children. Desperate for a miracle that would save her sons from…
